Georgia Tech will face LSU in this year’s Chick-fil-A Bowl, according to the Associated Press.
The announcement for the Southeastern Conference came Sunday evening from bowl officials.
The AP reports, the No. 14 Yellow Jackets (9-3) were selected last Thursday to represent the Atlantic Conference.
This will be the team’s 12th straight bowl appearance. LSU (7-5) is representing the Atlantic Coast Conference, and are the bowl’s first defending national champion in the game’s 41-year history, according to the AP.
Tune in New Year’s Eve to watch the game to be played at the Georgia Dome.
